Sales Performance Manager

The Sales Performance Manager is focused on driving more optimal sales performance with next-generation tools and metrics-driven best practices, KPI reporting and sales administration. Besides, the SPM will be in close collaboration with Business Development and Finance teams.



  Main Responsibilities


Sales Performance Management

Working directly with the Operators Business Management team and collaborating closely with the Business Development and Finance teams, SPM is an innovative discipline of sales management that is focused on driving more optimal sales performance with next-generation tools and metrics-driven best practices. SPM is focused on improving the performance of the sales organization.

This covers providing relevant input for the Operators Business Management team in the following areas:


  1. Strategy: methodology, communication, execution, process – key to company and team alignment.

  2. Optimization: continuous improvement of sales effectiveness and efficiency enabling the team to adapt to an ever changing market.

  3. Organization: hiring, training, culture, structure and compensation to ensure we have the right resources in the right place with the appropriate skills and experience.

  4. Metrics: measurement of performance improvements - KPIs.

  5. Technology: defining sales tools that enable higher sales productivity.



  Key Activities


  • Implement and continually improve sales performance management and reporting tools and processes

  • Participate in Funnel and Forecast reviews

  • Provide accurate, clear and timely monthly KPI reporting and forecasting that is validated by Sales Management and Finance

  • Support Sales Managers on the tools, processes and information provided to report, manage and improve sales performance

  • Provide ad hoc reporting for Finance and Regional Directors, Country Directors and potentially Sigfox Operators

  • Propose improvements on processes, tools and metrics





  • Degree with master with focus on finance, economics and management

  • Ideally with financial accounting experience and training

  • 3 + years relevant work experience in financial control and business / sales performance management

  • Extensive experience working with cross functional and international teams

  • Excellent financial modelling and programming capabilities in Excel and other tools

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills in French & English (fluent)

  • Experience working closely with Sales teams

  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects to completion in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively at an advanced level

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills that leverage information for decision-making

  • Consistently thinks out of the box and brings new ideas to the team

  • CRM knowledge & experience (preferably SalesForce)

  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office Suite : Excel, Powerpoint
