Project Manager

The Project Manager works closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors. He / she typically operates across multiple Sigfox functions, (BU, Engineering, Marketing, Coms, HR, Adoption, Region, Eco-System, etc….), geographies, technologies and subjects.

 

The Project Manager works closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors. He / she typically operates across multiple Sigfox functions, (BU, Engineering, Marketing, Coms, HR, Adoption, Region, Eco-System, etc….), geographies, technologies and subjects.

He / she is responsible for the management of multiple related projects, which are directed toward a common objective. The Program Manager ensures that client and stakeholder expectations are aligned with the agreed scope and deliverables of the program of works.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

The Project Manager accountable for the management of one or multiple programs on-scope, on-time, on-budget and on-quality. As such he follows a Program Management methodology to :

 

  • Ensure programme delivery – The main daily responsibility of the Project Manager is the co-ordination of the activities of the project team through task delegation, resource assignment and project management. He or she takes ownership of the full execution of his / her projects. This individual takes ownership of the project completion and transition to the Business Owner and “run mode” for business as usual activities.
    The individual adheres to and ensures that the project delivers the solution in line with the agreed scope, remains within budget, is delivered on time, while achieving quality criteria and maintaining client and stakeholder satisfaction.

 

  • Manage resources / people - The individual needs to be able to lead project teams effectively and has a good understanding of general Sigfox business process and technology concepts. The Project Manager will manage the project team to drive successful project outcome and will escalate any project performance concerns to the relevant line managers and program manager or PMO. The Project Manager ensures that the project team has access to the relevant project management tools and have the general means to perform their role. He / she takes full responsibility for client (Business Owner) and stakeholder satisfaction and ensure that the project team displays the right level of client and stakeholder engagement.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • General Qualification in Project Management (Degree)
  • PMP certification
  • 6 – 12 years' working experience
  • At least 2 years’ working experience in project management, preferably in multi-national technology services environment
  • Proven client engagement experience
  • Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints

 

Behavioural Skills
