IoT Sales Director

SIGFOX USA is an IOT operator serving the US territory and customers.

 

 

The Sales Director is responsible for commercial activities in a specific region developing long-term, sustainable growth in contracted revenues for Sigfox USA from direct IOT connectivity and services sales to corporate accounts, as well as enabling sales through nationwide Partner Channels.

He / she will commercially develop its specific territory through active engagements with local customers and potential local channel partners

He / she will actively engage with potential nationwide partners and establish key relationships so that these channels can bring business opportunities to Sigfox USA across the country. 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set the regional sales strategy
  • Develop and manage an opportunities pipeline
  • Actively engage within its territory with customers and potential local channel partners
  • Set the nationwide partner strategy
  • Engage with nationwide channel partners
  • Lead and manage the development of Sigfox USA’s value proposition for customers in the market area
  • Participate in the delivery of regional training for channel and eco-system partners so that they are able to effectively promote Sigfox and its proposition to customers in the market
  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of all products within the M2M and IoT space
  • Own its sales target (team & individual) within territory and scope as set by the Management Team

 

KEY SKILLS

  • Sales management skills with a high level of attention to details in written and verbal communications (7 to 10 years sales experience at least)
  • Existing knowledge of product market areas i.e. mobile, M2M, Internet of Things
  • Perfect presentation skills for customer meetings and speaker slots on events
  • Self-starter with a proven record of success in a sales environment
  • Sound commercial judgement
  • Educated to degree level with excellent interpersonal skills and high level of enthusiasm
  • Results orientated, resourceful, enthusiastic and diligent
  • Customer focussed with the ability to make clear decisions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM applications
