Thanks to its wireless, ultra portable, cost-effective and autonomous communication solution, SIGFOX was chosen to provide the network connection to ensure the transmission of alerts.
CEEWITT aims to utilise the advantages of the SIGFOX network to create a dual offer: a localisation service for car drivers looking for available parking spaces combined with an individual parking payment service, replacing traditional parking meters. This system is applicable to both private parking zones and the public streets of our towns and cities. Thanks to CEEWITT, it is possible to envisage a large-scale implementation of this type of service for car drivers. SIGFOX network’s low operating and maintenance costs, offering simplicity and large energy efficiency, have made this possible.
NADEGE (Narrow bAnd Datacollection Experiment for Greentech Exploitation) is a project aiming to demonstrate the versatility and functioning in space environment of the communication technology based on SIGFOX knowledge and products. Project’s scope concerns nano satellite conception, fabrication and tests which includes an “ultra narrow band” payload.
POCTEFA aims to develop a livestock tracking system in pastoral areas that will combine a geo-positioning system with information transfer via SIGFOX’s network. POCTEFA positively contributes to the preservation of economic activity in rural and mountainous areas.
